Eligible teams must be comprised of individuals from more than one department, one specialty, or one practice location. The award acknowledges a major advance in improving the patient health and/or improving the reliability, efficiency, or effectiveness in delivery of healthcare. Advances are defined broadly and include finding a pragmatic solution to a chronic problem, defining new paths to clinical excellence, or even new approaches that enable our organization to function more collaboratively and effectively. Atrius Health Trustees’ Award of Distinction – Presented to Daniel Slater, MD by Susan Pauker, MD and Guy Spinelli, MD
The Trustee’s Award of Distinction recognizes an individual in our practice whose exceptional efforts and commitment resulted in outstanding contributions to the mission of Atrius Health. Through extraordinary initiative and perseverance, an Awardee has gone above and beyond expectations to humbly inspire changes that have benefited our patients, our peers and colleagues, and our organization. The work of the Awardee has been a critical influence in helping us “provide the right care with kindness and compassion every day for every person we serve.” This award shares a historical legacy with the Ebert Award of Distinction that honors the memory of Dr. Robert H. Ebert, Dean of Harvard Medical School from 1965 to 1977 and visionary founder of Harvard Community Health Plan. It is the highest individual honor awarded annually. Nominations are open and awardees are selected by the executive management team and the Chairman of our Board of Trustees.
