For the third year in a row, the John Hancock Non-Profit Boston Marathon Program has awarded 4 of its coveted entry number “bibs” to the Atrius Health Foundation.  Once again, we have selected 4 enthusiastic runners – all first time marathoners – each of whom has made commitment to raise a minimum of $6,000 for the Atrius Health Foundation before the Boston Marathon starting gun goes off on Monday, April 21st, 2014.  We hope that you can support their efforts!

Meet Team Atrius Health Foundation:

Pippa ShulmanPippa Shulman, DO, MPH, is the Chief of Harvard Vanguard’s Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Care.  Pippa attends the Boston Marathon every year as a spectator, and is excited to be running in next year’s Marathon for the Atrius Health Foundation.  “I don’t want to run the Marathon because of the bombings…I want to run the Marathon as a thank you to my city…I want to run because the monies I raise will make it easier for people of Boston and beyond to be healthy, to someday take their own first steps towards a healthier life and a goal that might seem unachievable.”  To support Pippa, please visit her Crowdrise page: Team Atrius Health Foundation – 2014 Boston Marathon | Pippa Shulman’s Fundraiser on CrowdRise
